Embarking on the road to Bankruptcy

yes that used to worry me too when i gave advice, but have been told by a few posters that their i&e showed a deficit and nothing was said.
Your h/k. The reason i lowered it is that the guidlines allow aprox £165 per adult per mth(i know it's not a lot:rolleyes: )so by putting £400 for 1 adult and 2 small children may be seen as excessive by the OR. It is your SOA so we can only suggest things,it's entirely up to you what you put.Don't mean that to sound snotty,it is not intended to but just wanted you to be aware we are not "experts" we just go by what we have seen allowed, either by ourselves or by other past posters.DFree impartial debt advice available from: National Debtline - Tel: 0808 808 4000 | The Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) - Tel: 0800 138 1111 | Find your local Citizens Advice Bureau

I'm pretty much there with the forms now with as much info as I can put just struggling with the Cause of Bankruptcy!!!!! Argh!!!0 -
just tell it as it is. Try not to waffle and keep to the point. If need be, write an accompanying letter explaning things in more detail when you send all your paperwork off to the OR. This is what i and many others did. There is not exactly much room to put much, other than the briefest details on the page of the SOA is there:D .DFree impartial debt advice available from: National Debtline - Tel: 0808 808 4000 | The Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) - Tel: 0800 138 1111 | Find your local Citizens Advice Bureau

Thanks again Dalip, I guess it brings it even more to home putting it in writing why it's all there!

When i did mine for the OR i did bullet points with dates of what led to my bc. Not only did i feel it help the OR understand but also made me see exactly when things nosedived out of control. I kept a copy for myself so that i could be clearer on certain things during bc.
A lot of the time it's not the debt itself alone that leads to bc its the circumstances surrounding it, which push us over the edge, into a situation thats out of our control.D
PS does that make sense:DFree impartial debt advice available from: National Debtline - Tel: 0808 808 4000 | The Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) - Tel: 0800 138 1111 | Find your local Citizens Advice Bureau
