Great news Zoe! They are the tops, never any problems. Wonderful to see a credit balance (small) on my current account. Just keep checking it online to make sure its still there!

Yay!!!
I love the feeling of being in control of my finances now, knowing whatever I'm spending is money I really have. Got my spreadsheet with my cashflow on and am always tinkering with it.0 -
Hi all! I have the co-op cashminder too. Its FABULOUS!!! Feel like a human being again when i whip the card out to pay at the till :-D
Just so you all know they have a landline number that you can call for balances! 0161 474 7123 so if like me, you some freebie calls on your phone...its another bonus.:happyloveLife - Live it to the full, but live it wisely :A0 -
Oooh!! didn't know about the land line number, how did you find that?BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0

Be careful with Co Op as if you have a DD bounce, they get stroppy.
Sky keep claiming money on different dates and after 2 failed DD's Co Op asked me to return cards and closed account!!!!BSC No: 186 There is always light at the end of the tunnel. Unless someone's nicked the candle !

It says in their terms and conditions that they have a 3 strikes.and you are out policy. I must say it focus's the mind to make sure you keep an eye on things.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -

Indeed it does. I only pay a couple of things by DD, but I've left them coming out of my RBOS account in case something goes wrong.
Must admit the three strikes thing seems a bit extreme, but I've heard a few people complain that they've been stung by it, so it seems like it's fairly strict standard policy rather than there to try and make people get on top of things.
I'd like to know why they're so strict on it. I could understand if they gave you a fee-free (apart from interest) unauthorised overdraft, but if they charge you (they do charge you, right? I can't remember) then I don't see why they're so against it.They say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it0
