Can you share your time-frames with me please?
I went BR on 7th May and had my OR i/v on 16th. So far, I haven't heard a peep from her, apart from a letter saying my car is exempt.
I have a nugget of info in my brain which tells me the OR has about 8 weeks (56 days?) to gather her information for the creditors.
At what point were you asked to send in credit card/bank statements? 2 weeks? 4 weeks? 6 weeks? 8 weeks?
I'm just surprised at how quiet it has all become, both over the phone and through the letterbox.
I feel that I can't relax about all this at all just yet. I suppose this is the rollercoaster bit.

            Also ....
I'm still paying normal rates of tax on my weekly income. When did you go onto a Nil Tax code?
Cheers in advance

If the OR feels she has enough information on your forms and has got enough info from your creditors then she might not need to have them. Is yours a fairly simple case? Usually if they want statements etc. they will send you an envelope before your interview for you to send them. There is a code they put on the top of the letter that means you won't have to do this and I can't remember what iis at the moment.
How much do you normally pay in tax each month? If it is less than £50 then they don't generally give you a NT code because it's not worth it. Though these things can take a while.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -
            Thanks for posting tigerfeet_2006
She did say mine was a simple case and I could be looking at ED when I had my i/v on 16th May, but I thought she'd still want to see my statements, perhaps I am wrong.
Re Tax Code. I pay approx £49 p/m in tax and she said it was borderline £50 so I'd be able to keep the tax that I was paying, but I've noticed that I'm not getting to keep it so far, it still goes to the taxman. I asked my employer last week if she'd heard from the OR but she hasn't yet.
I may have misunderstood the situation, so thought I'd post here.Decluttering junk and debt in 2016

What she meant was the TAX MAN gets to keep it.
Don't automatically expect an ED. That will only happen if they are not very busy with BR's and have time to deal with the paperwork for ED's.
Glad it is all going smoothly for you.
All the best.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -
Thanks Tigerfeet - knew I must be missing something
Anyway, off to bed now, thanks for replying.

Hi TMD,
I am in same situation but I have contacted my OR he gave me a date which he said it all needed to be finalised by and yes it was 8 weeks from my BR.He also said they were very busy so high work loads slowing down the process.
No news is good news and I'm sure everything will work out fine
Take care DEzThe triumph of hope over experience
