Bra Straps

Please can someone tell me where I am going wrong. Every bra that I wear the straps fall down, it's so annoying and I don't want to keep pulling up the straps everytime I move.
I have the bra on the tightest hook possible and the straps are as tight as possible.

It sounds as if you are like me - I have sloping shouldars, swimsuits, bras, vest tops, they all do the same. I can solve it with swim suits by getting a high backed style, and you can get adapters for bra straps which keep them together, but they are very 'Grannified'
The only bra I ever found which didn't do this was a front fastening one - the back was very high, like the swim suits.

I was going to say perhaps you've got narrow shoulders?
I don't know if they're the ones Raksha means, but Bravissimo do strap adjusters that you attach to the back of the bra. They pull the straps together a bit at the back. I guess they do look a bit odd
, but it might be less annoying than having to keep pulling the straps up?

I was going to mention the same thing. In fact i think avon do them also.
although in true MSE :money: style, if you have any straps from a strapless bra going spare, then you could fasten that around the straps on the smallest setting to see if it helps before spending on anything else???

I have had this problem for years and never solved the problem.. but now I have found a bra in Marks and Spencer that has small rubber seam sowed into the straps and it works... the straps never move... If I can find a link I will come back...#6 of the SKI-ers Club :j

I have this problem too (I'm sure it's my shoulders)
I use something I found in a haberdashery, although I think places like John Lewis will probably have them in that dept.
They are small pieces of ribbon, on a tiny safety pin, with a small popper button on the open end. They come in a pack of 2.
You safety pin these to the appropriate place on your top, and use the popper to hold the bra strap in place between the bits of ribbon.
Hope that make sense, as I have no idea what they are called.

Have you had your bra fitting checked? I know you say you've tried different styles but maybe it's more fundamental than that?Signature removed for peace of mind0
