Not Happy With Payplan

I've been on DMP with Payplan since Fenruary, was paying £359 a month, but due to the fact that I was off work for a week at beginning of the month and the cost of certain things ie., electric, food, petrol have gone up I ammended my budget accordingly saying it would be temporary for 2mths...payments were then adjusted to £199 from 1st July.....payment of £359 was taken on 1st June..checked my Justabank and Payplan have only distributed £199.....e-mailed them...they said that as I ammended budget on 6th of the month they adjusted it from June..consequently creditors have not recieved their pro-rato payments from £359 but from £199..asked where the other £160 was...they said i can have it refunded or distributed to my creditors.....why then when they rang me regarding my budget ammendment didn't they tell me all of this!!!

They have told you now though - just choose which you want it refunded or given to your creditors.

Not as simple as that I feel as I have already had a letter from Barclaycard saying they are not willing to accept the new offer of payment...approx.£1.24 on £338 debt...and will only accept £5...so now I fear the rest will follow suit.

So, forward any letters on to Payplan.

    Creditors / DCA's can't ask what you don't have.
Click here for Martins (MSE) advice on who to contact with Debt Issues - YOU HAVE NO REASON TO USE A FEE PAYING DEBT MANAGEMENT COMPANY- THEY CANNOT DO ANYMORE FOR YOU THAN THOSE LISTED IN MY LINK ABOVE.

All information given by myself is offered informally and without prejudice - if in doubt seek help from a qualified and insured professional
