I Wanna Buy... A Good, Cheap Vacuum Cleaner

Vacuum cleaner's died, I need a cheap new one. I live in a one-bed flat so nothing too big, upright, bagless and with an extendable hose or tools for stair cleaning.

Any recommendations gratefully appreciated.

I used to have a posh 'pet hair' upright that was about £140, It packed up about 9 months ago so I went out and bought a tesco own brand cylinder for about £20

Its the best hoover ive ever had!!!! it beats the posh one I had, it hasnt failed (yet) and picks up more than my mums dyson.

Only downside is it uses tiny bags

Hi there is another thread on here r.e Bissell ones which are reconditoned..i have ordered one and hopefully it will be good (the reviews are!), they retail at almost £200 and they fit everything you have mentioned above HTH.
  • hiya - i brought a pro-action bagless vaccum from argos for £30 - was brilliant, but then i brought a dyson off a car boot for £20 as the pro-action one was a bit too small for my 2 bed room house n i'd have to empty it a few times by time id vaccumed every room in house!
