Vacuum cleaner's died, I need a cheap new one. I live in a one-bed flat so nothing too big, upright, bagless and with an extendable hose or tools for stair cleaning.

I used to have a posh 'pet hair' upright that was about £140, It packed up about 9 months ago so I went out and bought a tesco own brand cylinder for about £20
Its the best hoover ive ever had!!!! it beats the posh one I had, it hasnt failed (yet) and picks up more than my mums dyson.
Only downside is it uses tiny bags0 -

hiya - i brought a pro-action bagless vaccum from argos for £30 - was brilliant, but then i brought a dyson off a car boot for £20 as the pro-action one was a bit too small for my 2 bed room house n i'd have to empty it a few times by time id vaccumed every room in house!0
