You can log on to this website and state the area you live and the surrounding areas. You can then pick up or have delivered items that others no longer need or want.
Its like ebay but NO MONEY can exchange hands regardless.
Its also good to get rid of your useless items.

You wont get me delivering my items i offer to anyone. In fact i find it rather rude to ask for my items to be delivered, after all they're free, the least the person that wants them can do is make the effort to come and collect it. Even if that means them asking a friend to help them out. Why would i wanna give an item away for free and then have it cost me in petrol to delivery the item, i am not a courier service.
However i have no objection to meeting people half way etc or if they work in the area i live, meeting them as they have made some effort etc.
CLLC, basically what it is is a forum, your local area/s would normally have one. You simply put things up on offer if you wanna get rid of items, if you see an item on offer you'd like you simply contact the person and ask for the item. People also put wanted adds up, so you may see one and realise you have what they're looking for and then would contact them.
Once your in contact you then arrange a time for the person to come and collect your item/you going to pick up your new item etc.
It is quiet good, i am given away a lot of things, TV, old mobile phone, coffee table, but have also received good things myself, cabinet, table and a lot of other things.Mummy to two girls: October 2013 and February 20160 -
I have only just discovered freecycle and I think it is brilliant. We are in the process of buying our first home so need everything and got a table and chairs from freecycle. They are good condition and have saved me money!!
