Summer is the perfect time to eat delicious, healthy seafood and why not try a new cooking technique and create your very own sushi?
Seafish, the seafood industry body, has launched a new healthy eating campaign to remind people of the health benefits of eating the recommended two portions of seafood a week, one of which should be oil-rich.
Oil-rich seafood, such as mackerel, herring, sardines, oysters and crab, is one of the best natural sources of omega 3 - an essential dietary requirement which helps maintain heart health and is believed to be beneficial to our joints, skin, digestive and immune systems. But seafood is also packed with a host of different vitamins and minerals, so to make the most of these it's important to vary the types we eat.
Sushi is healthy, delicious and the perfect way to get one of your ‘2 a week.' All About You.com has teamed up with Seafish to offer three lucky readers the chance to win a Sushi Making pack worth £100 each to help inspire you with some delicious new seafood dishes.
Seafood is one of the healthiest foods around; it's delicious, nutritious and above all easy to cook. The biggest annual celebration of the seafood industry, Seafood Fortnight, will be taking place between 5-21 September. To find out more about what will be happening, log on to seafish.org/2aweek.
Question: How many portions of seafood should you eat every week?
Answer: Two
Good Luck
