Natwest phoning when asked not to

Can I report them. they are not one of the creditors. They are just bombarding with sales calls and information calls. This morning they have phoned the mobile and the landline. They were told yesterday to leave us alone or we'd take our business elsewhere.
We always tick the box for no contact but as we are a customer of theirs they deem it ok to call.

I have no idea, I assume you can still write tot them and tell them to only contact you in writing in the same way that you can a cerditor.

I think lots of the banks are doing this, Lloyds haven't phoned me for years and last week I had a call from someone in 'premiere banking' department offering an 'account review' and then last night (flipping 8pm) I had a call from 'pre-collections' and when I asked what it was about she said she was calling from the department that helps people that are struggling and that it was to 'review my accounts' and then later said they had to tell me some important information about my accounts, that my credit limit on my card had gone down from £12.5k to £8k (I knew this as I had reduced the limit myself!!! TWO months ago; not that urgent or important that it couldn't be put in a letter then). They seem confused about whether I am a good customer or a struggling customer - lol

I think they were desperately trying to flog (in the first case) paid for banking and a loan to cover my existing loan but at a higher rate (nice try) and in the latter some sort of consolidation loan.

Anyhow, that is a bit of a random ramble from me, just a thought, if you complain it should stop it and you might just get a tenner out of it?? Do it as a letter of complaint (rather than the you are harassing me, leave me alone letter) but specify how many calls and when and explain that you feel harassed by them - then you can escalate the complaint if they don't back off

    Natwest are bad for this.

It's worth considering asking for the "markers" to be removed from you account, so they can't try and sell you products over the counter or by phone.

I put my request in in person at the customer service desk in my branch in person (2 things to note: 1. the very helpful lady on the desk said to expect that it might not work(!!) although it has in my case, and 2. this request is raised as a complaint as standard by Natwest, so you wouldn't need to complain as well. Apparently not wanting pointless marketing counts as complaining in their eyes.....

Can you ask them for their name and say, 'take my number from your database'?

I'm a natwest customer and am now feeling left out because I don't get any calls from them...... Even when deep in debt with them, they didn't bother me.
