Good Morning
Pay day today, haven't worked my money out yet, I've been so busy this week, but should be able to put some in savings.
Going food shopping this am, as a bit like Old Mother Hubbards, have got a voucher for £5 off £25 spend in Sainsburys, I've also been sent a few from Tescos £5 off £50, getting a few of these lately
So once i've sorted my list i'll decide which I need to use.
Hubby home this afternoon, yippeeee:j :j :j   might mean a takeaway
Have a great day everyone - keep it low;)

Good grief this has slipped back! I stopped posing on here because whenever i didn't post I didn't spend but whenever I did post I ended up spending. You know - allow to buy a lettuce and spend £13 at ASDA.
SO I am not posting what I will spend in order that I have an NSD0 -
Good morning kizzy, peb and everyone :hello: :hello: :hello:
Peb - I agree 100% with you - posting on this thread does control our daily spends - I used to go to Tesco for four pints of milk and end up spending £10, whereas the mere action of posting on this thread now makes me think twice before any non-budgeted spending - even on 'bargains'. That's why, in my opinion, this tread is one of the most important and inspirational threads on this board.
And to think, it started with those three small words, from the original founder - the now legendary 'moozie':'Keep it Low'In fact, those three words enabled 'moozie' to tackle a mountain of debt, that would have led most of us to the brink of despair. I, personally, have followed this thread from the beginning - I know I don't post everyday, due to work commitments, but this was one of the first 'daily spend threads' that I joined, and it has totally changed my approach to spending, so don't forget, everyone, it only takes a minute to post here, and that minute could be the start of a 'debt-free' future.
Anyway, back to the 'spends' - I did pay for my new bike, yesterday - £87.99 (£2.00 less than I thought :T :T ). I have to wait until Monday, to pick it up, though, but I do need to buy some lights (does anyone still sell dynamos?), a helmet and a lock and chain (although I think I may have an old lock and chain in the shed) so I will need to spend around £20.00 over the next couple of days.
However, based on bus fares (£2.40 each way) or petrol cost, I have calculated that the 'investment' on the bike will pay for itself within three months.
No other spends anticipated, today.
Kizzy - I hope you enjoy your afternoon - don't worry, we will understand if you are too busy to post.
Have a great day, everyone  :wave:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
