Indiana Jones cake inspiration

Want to make an Indiana Jones themed cake for my son but am completely lacking any ideas/ inspiration. Anyone done something similar or have any good ideas/ links to pics? I have seen some in the supermarket but would prefer something homemade and sort of 3D if you get my meaning! The one I saw had a flat photo image. Thanks in advance!

Sorry, pressed thanks instead of quote LOL.

Why not take inspiration from the new Lego Indiana Jones game. Make a cake with a terrain (stick bits of sponge on and cover the lots so it looks like rough ground), and use a little Lego man as Indiana Jones running through it. You could have the famous bit ball rolling after him. Or surround him with sweetie snakes/spiders etc.

I know you can get Indiana Jones Lego sets, could you use one on top of a plain iced cake - then the birthday boy can keep the set after the cake's been demolished! :D

Thanks - love the snake idea - hadn't thought of that. Already have a lego set ready to give him for his birthday and did not think about using that so great idea, thought I would buy another man - saved me money already!!

Or how about in the shape of his hat with the lego on it?
