Mobile Phone Bundle Con / Rip Off

Hi,
Am on a contract with Orange which started April 2007, however in August 2007 Orange automatically assigned my account with 2 months free "Orange World" browsing.
Now I only noticed today on my bill that there was the following...
"Chargeable Umltd Ev & Wk OW : 08 May - 07 Jun 4.26" + VAT (£5.00)

I rang Orange to enquire about this and the guy I spoke to said that this was signed up to after the trial period - NOT BY ME IT WASN'T .

After giving him a mouthfull he said he would refund me 3 months, to which I said it was not good enough as I did not authorise this to be added to my account.

He then spoke to his manager and said that they would refund the whole amount for this service to me on my next bill (from October 2007 to June 2008).

£45 is not bad for 15 minutes work (5 mins on hold listening to poor quality music).

I suggest if you have this on your account and you have not used the service give whoever you have your contract with a call and do not let them fob you off.

ALSO: if you have itemised billing on your account which costs £1.50 a month, I advise you to take this off as you can check your last 3 bills online with all the itemisation on it (with Orange you can anyway).

Hope this helps.
Milan

The same thing happened to me Milanio.

It seems you've got to have eyes like a hawk when dealing with anything financial these days.
