My dad got one last week , he's never shopped there or registered online . He gave it to me to use cos I go every week. Very usefull :T0

Jules, my local tesco sometimes puts up a sign saying they accept Asda and Sainsbury vouchers. You just hand them to the cashier when you pay. The cashiers accept them without any fuss whatsoever in my local shops, though I'm sure this will vary from store to store. Still, nothing ventured, nothing gained.
It's always worth handing over any voucher from any source, regardless of the conditions of use printed on them. Tescos often accept them, the general wisdom is that you go to the spotty sixteen-year-old cashiers who don't give a hoot.

As I drove into Sainsbury's today there was a big sign saying we take Asda vouchers.0

Spoke to ASDA customer services, who said that the names selected for the vouchers were from a list bought from a marketing company called ACXIOM. http://www.consodata.co.uk/
