  • Are you signed up with things like Getpaidto.com, Lightspeed, onepoll and Mysearchfunds? I've already had payouts from GPT and Lightspeed in less than a week, so worth doing.

I'm not ambitious about my internet earnings - I have the same 10 day holiday every year with friends, it always costs in the region of about £120, and this year I want the internet to pay for it!

And I sympathise on Slice the Pie. I need ear bleach after just 50 pence worth this morning...

Can I say thank you also as I am just about to sign up for the getpaidto but it is asking for my number and wont except a mobile - do they actually ring you or not?

  • Not sure, as I'm useless at this referral thing! I'll have a quick look and PM you if so. :)

They didn't ring me, no, but they do give a local rate (London) number to ring them to validate the account. I had to actually email them eventually (not uncommon if you look at the forums), but have been paid a few quid since, so this is fine, and they're genuine. In fact, I've been paid within half an hour of asking for my money on most occasions.

They actually suggest that you immediately withdraw your sign up bonus to check they're genuine, which is always heartening!

is the web address www.getpaidto.co.uk or .com?

Only the .com address quotes payment in US dollars......

  • Yes, it's .com - PayPal does the conversion so the exchange rate makes it a small amount of money, but I'm going for the strategy of a lot of low payout sites that definitely pay. For the sake of half an hour a day or so when I'm faffing with a coffee, it works for me :)

I should add that I think - I'm a member of a lot, so can't rightly remember - that they're US, Canada and UK only.
