I thought this was quite a good deal, can't afford it myself but it may help some others. There are also a few discount codes floating around for Woolworths although I think the Wannadoo one has finished.

I've been debating whether to get this for weeks now.
The 3 year swap out guarantee makes it an even better deal.
Thanks for the reminder.

I've been looking for a true HD ready TV for a while now too, but this one doesn't have the HDMI connector on the back which is what will be required for the new HD Sky boxes, as far as I am aware.0

Some reviews on this LCD, might not be 100% future proof but it looks good for the money, they also have a 32" black LCD £799 looks good.0

My mate bought a similar set from Dell, and to be honest, he would've been better going for a branded model like panasonic or pioneer who make top notch sets.
As with all expensive purchases, go and see them working and then decide - don't let the price alone drive you to buy... and this one isn't truly HD ready as stated above as it's won't be fully compatiable with Sky.0 -
As said this isnt HD ready, the only way that I can see that this plays HDTV is through a PC connected to it.
The Samsung LCD TV like the LE26R41BDX are true HDTV and has been given good reviews by many on avforums.0 -
I am thinking of buying this one from Amazon can anyone tell me If this is a good buy at £700 and will it be any good??

Wouldn't touch it with a bargepole - the person has no ratings and is selling a good tv at a substantially discounted price - why, is what I'd be asking myself...0

The £700 one must have been sold the new seller is asking £8300
