Good morning peeps
Not expecting to spend too much money today, just some capri Suns for the kids lunchboxes.
Getting excited as DH is coming home tomorrow evening ( 99.9% sure ) Haven't seen him since the begining of February:eek: he was supposed to come home 2 weeks ago & couldn't so really crossing fingers toes & everything that nothing goes wrong this time.
So, trying to get all my ironing washing, cleaning out of the way, so it doesn't need doing whilst he's home:p
Have a good day & don't spend too much:D

Hi kizzy, and everyone :hello: :hello: :hello:
Sorry that I'm not around much, at the moment - too much happening on the 'work' front, but I'm definitely not neglecting my DFW 'obligations'.
Am still working my way through the 1 kg bar of CDM that my daughter gave me for Father's Day.
I am going to spend £89.99 today, on a new bicycle - I've tried all of the second-hand options, and freecycle, but as I need a small frame bike, none seem to be available, and HALFORDS have a few good reductions at the moment. I need the bike as I have a three mile journey to work - we have only one car and, if my wife is working, then I have to walk. I have no problem with walking, other than the time - it takes me about 40 minutes, and it's not much fun when it's raining.
Since there are, also, good savings to be had on what we are spending on petrol I don't consider this to be an extravagance - unbudgeted , yes, but quite necessary.
Other than that - no other spends today.

Milk, newspaper, x amount of stamps - hoping to run off some letters re: organising my financial mess to try and gain some semblance of semi-organisation. I need to buy at least one stamp to send my deferment letter and documents to the student loan company, so as long as I can will myself to sort that out then I'll feel like I've accomplished something today.
I also have promised myself I will treat myself to a "non-specified brand" of caffeinated cola beverage
if I drag myself out of the front door, even more so if I can do it by myself, but it will still be okay if I go out with someone with me. Dealing with my debts!Currently overpaying Virgin cc -balance Jan 2010 @ 1985.65Now @ 703.63

Cool! Have you got a lock for it too?!
No spend day over here - have brought sandwiches and am eating them against a backdrop of two of my colleagues having a conversation which is so racist it's not worth intervening to stop it :mad:Overpay!0 -
Hey all
This will be my last post on here til October
cos I'm off to London first thing tomorrow morning (it's my mum's birthday tomorrow so we making a day of it before I fly) and then flying to USA for Camp America on Friday :j
Today I have spent about £10 on bits and bobs to take with me for the journey - magazines, sweets, painkillers etc.
Have a great summer all and I'll be back in October!
