    missed this comment earlier;
    I'd be too embarrassed to get a proper fitting :o

    but you would go for numerous consultations with an invariably male surgeon, general anaesthetic, stiches, implants under your chest muscles etc etc

    personally, i'd rather let some old dear in markies cop a feel!!

    Don't ask me how I know this, but almost inevitably when you get measured properly, your back size goes down, and your bra size goes up.

    Women just like thinking they have smaller breasts for some reason...

    Hi all

    I wore 44b for years, measured and was told was a 39F; much more comfotrable now. Nothing embarrassing - I refused to go for years but hte girl didn't physically measure me, she looked me both with and without a bra and got the size right though she asked me to try a couple on. Def worth it though you are taught to try them on rather than buy by size, I am different dependant on M&S, ASDA or Fantasie.

    Maz - I have a couple of 42DD I got from ASDA (for some reason they are a good fit) - maybe worht looking online if they don't have them in your local ASDA. Did you look at the "simply curvy" range - thats where I usually find mine.

    I do have a couple of 40DD and 42DD's from Asda, which are a good fit. (does this mean i'm really a 39F?!?)

    They have some not too ugly big girl bra's eh.

    I think i am giving this other womens boobies far too much thought........

    Do you think we've put IA off yet? Will she just get Jet to pick her up some gel filled boobagery on saturday from Primark?

    anyone changing the subject?

    Oh dear you lot. Right, first thing you cannot be an odd size in the back size, neither the (wrong) UK guide or the EU guide allows for it. You add 4 if you get an even number, 5 if you get an odd on the UK version.
    Next, no woman I've ever known of (or someone who's been a bra fitter for 30 years) has one bra size! It depends on the cut, the wire, the straps sooooo many things.
    The best written fit guide I've ever seen is the Figleaves one, followed by Gok Wan's advice.
