Cambridge- WE NEED MORE BARGAIN SHOPS!!!
Grrr,
I love living here in Cambridge (Moved here from Essex, yes i`ve heard all the jokes ta!)
The thing that gets me is theres no bargain shops here, they`ve just opened the "Grand Arcade" shopping center, and thats just full of more "upmarket" shops. Ok...so Cambridge is seen as upmarket, but we arnt all "rolling in it", and what about the students?
And we dont need anymore coffee bars either!!!!!
We need an Ikea, and definately a Primark!!!!!!!!!!!!:p

is there still the row of shops near the grafton centre with lots of charity shops? not been there in a while, but used to be a useful area. as far as cheaper shops for new clothes, no idea i'm afraid. unless the big bar hill tesco has a clothes section (can't remember as it's been a few years).:happyhear0

I went to Cambridge for the weekend a few weeks ago and loved all the shops, but like OP has said they are lacking a bargain shop (or several!)
The charity shops are all still located in the one street next to The Grafton though.0 -
Poundland opened yesterday in the grafton, where Heffers was (up by BHS)
Theres rumour the old temporary Robert Sayle is going to be a primark, but I have no idea if its true.
I'd love more cheap shops!0 -
I'm sure there are still plenty of them, tho I haven't lived there for years. Try out of the centre, Mill Road maybe?0
