M&S xmas refund rule

As many of us know, M&S had changed their rule of refund/exchange, which only for 90 days, the final date for refund/exchange can be found at the bottom of the bill anyway.
Just got to know that, if you are buying gift for xmas, ask for a gift receipt, that receipt would be enable you or your friend to get refund or exchange.
The good thing is, the gift receipt only has number for their tille system, nothing releate for price. However, they would all found out if they decide to get the money back instead.
