Don't think it works more than once BUT if you don't mind missing out on the points then simply sign up for a new account with a different email address and JUST use this account to order another time. Repeat as required :D
  • The OP stated that this ended on 31/10/05, I have tried to use it and it wasn't accepted, has anyone used it today?

No hang on I got that wrong, the codes runs out 30/11/05, now what was I doing wrong then???

i Used the £5 off £15 spend 3 times on a DVD boxset and 2 DS games. No PS2 games at all. The code checks out flawlessly, I get an email for all items with the discounted amount and I have the DVD and was charged only £12.81 for The Godfather box set which is an absolute bargain.

Hopefully the DS games will come through without a hitch, haven't been charged and they haven't dispatched yet. Although they're not due to dispatch until a few days after the order - I don't expect any problems....a great offer from Tesco, I effectively get a free game if I repeat the offer again which I might do for the Extras DVD.
  • did you check your credit card bill?

Another lady although it showed she had only been charged the discounted ammount on her my orders page on their website her credit card was charged the full ammount when she complained to them on the phone twice about it and why she had been charged a different ammount then she was meant to they said tough its for PS2 games only.... which is why i panicked and cancelled my order quickly...
Manybe i'll phone them tomorrow and ask..

p.s i meant to say it kept showing on my order thats i was only going to be charged that dicounted ammount but i had never recieved any emails confirming that... adn teh game was still not yet dispatched yet do you only get charged once they actually dispatch it...

Is that legal, i.e. getting an invoice for a certain amount and then having a different amount charged to your credit card?

    No its not
  • It must be legal cos they did it... this is what the lady said in the other post i'll copy and paste it at the bottom.
I had never recieved an email confirming the ammount which is what originally
    worried me.
I cancelled my ordeall of a panic then phoned them today and 2 people clearly stated if the order had been acepted at £19.11 that is what i woudl havebeen charged that although the order voucher code shows up as PS2 games if it had been acepted then the order was fine..
Little comfort for me when i have just cancelled it :0( anyway i went to redo the order and sure enough it now won't accept the code as techinaly i have used it so i phoned them back and he said the same thing as the previous customer service women but said to go aheaad and place the order and that although it wouldot show the discount once i receieved the item to phone back he would put a note on my account stipulating i needed to be credited for £5 etc......
Surely if they have said all that and i have names they could not back out of it now?
Only irritating thing is my dispatch date is now the 16th and it was previously due to be dispatced when stock came in today :0(

However this time upon placing the order i did actually recieve an email confirmation...

This is what the lady wrote in the other topic....

Ididn't receive a confirmation e-mail when I ordered but the record under the "My Orders" section of the website shows the discount - I only noticed that I had been charged the full amount when I checked my credit card statement online.

I've phoned Tesco Customer services twice (in case I got a different answer the second time) and they both basically said "tough" because the code was specifically for PS2 games, that the amount shown on the invoice is the amount charged (I haven't received this yet because it didn't come with the parcel) and if I wasn't happy I could return the items for a full refund. However, I don't see much point in sending them back because I'm unlikely to get them much cheaper anywhere else and by the time I pay the return postage (it isn't a freepost address) it wouldn't be worth it!

Only goes to show though the importance of indicating in the original post the source of the discount in order to verify that there aren't any exclusions!
