It is one of many cashback sites. Where you buy things online such as car insurance, home shopping etc & if you sign up with any one of the cashback sites like Quidco or Rpoints and many more they give you percentage cash back.
An example :- I signed up with Quidco.
They will charge an administration fee of £5 per year which will be deducted from your cashback monies.
Lets say I bought an online home insurance thru' the Quidco website & the total cost I have to pay is £200 but in actual fact I only paid £130 becoz I get £70 cashback after they have tracked my purchase.
Another example is if I purchase something from Marks & Spencer via cashback website they will pay me back 5% of my total purchase tracked.RIP my dear dear parent : Mum aged 62 (17/5/1990) & Dad aged 89 (23/1/2012)0 -

Quidco is a cashback site. Basically if you're looking to buy something online and the retailer is listed on Quidco you'll get some of your money back providing you visit the retailer via the Quidco site.
e.g. If you're looking to buy a CD from Play.com for a tenner instead of going straight to Play.com you log on to Quidco and then click on the link for Play.com. Play.com then give you back 4% of your money via Quidco. It takes about an extra 60 seconds to make your purchase but you get 40p back for your efforts.
Quidco has a huge list of retailers, many of the big names are on there. You need to visit quidco.com and check out the full list.
Cashback rates vary from retailer to retailer and can be a percentage or a fixed sum. Ocassionally you'll find deals were the cashback is more than the amount you spend so you make a profit. This often happens on gambling sites where you might get an offer such as deposit and wager £10 and you'll get £20 cashback.
Some sites also give cashback without having to spend anything (which is what this thread is devoted to).
Basically you just need to log on and explore.
p.s. The cashback isn't instant (or guaranteed) so expect to wait 3-4 months to receive it and they also charge a £5 membership which is kept back from your initial earnings (i.e. you don't need to make a payment). Also note that there are other cashback sites available.
At the end of the day it really is money for nothing:beer:.

Did you do this immediately after receiving the onvoice and presumably the 1st issue? Did you get confirmation of cancel?
Edit: Also, can I ask exactly how you marked it cancelled? On the invoice or the envelope?
Just to quote my own query, again thank you for all the replies. Just additional info for anyone who needs it.
If you goto https://www.timeeurope.com/customerservice
Log in with your account number and e-mail address you used to sign up to with it. The former can be found on your invoice slip. Once logged in on the left hand index you'll see "Cancel subscription". I'm assuming aswell as cancelling by marking the onvoice letter with CANCEL and posting it you can also cancel online which may be more convenient for some. I'll be doing both just to make sure. I'm going to wait till I receive my 3rd issue before cancelling as my quidco has tracked but not validated and I know the latest date is 16th august to cancel for myself, you can check yours by looking at your onvoice under "Payment Due Date"
Thanks again.0 -
I cancelled online, and got a confirmation email straight back afterwards. Quidco tracked, validated and have paid me already for it.

It's your view is a good earner. From what I understand it is also on topcashback and they both award you the 1p. Other greedy sites keep the 1p if you fail to qualify.
BTW another thread to look at is the free daily cashback one. http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=609037&highlight=
It is a shame there is no general free cashback thread for others which are not dailies besides this one for quidco.0 -
