I always recommend people get their money out of Quidco (and any other cashback site) as quickly as possible - far better to let the money build up in your own account rather than their's.barrettefc wrote: »Is there a way that you can stop Quidco from sending a payment to your bank via BACS each month?
I want to build up a nice amount first before they send me anything.
I always find it odd when I read about people saying they let their Quidco cash build up and draw it out once a year (eg. just before Xmas). We all know what happened to Farepak.
Far better to draw the cash out each month and put it in a savings account to earn a bit of interest. I mean, who's ever heard of a bank going bust.

Didn't that Northern Rock nearly go bust?

Quidco will take that when you earn enough, you don't need to worry about it though it is nice to be aware obviously of when it gets taken.barrettefc wrote: »Thanks!
Should I always minus my £5 admin fee from whatever I want my minimum payment to be?

Yeah, I was actually hinting towards the NR debacle with the "sarcastic" emoticon. :rolleyes:barrettefc wrote: »Didn't that Northern Rock nearly go bust?
But realistically, you're generally protected with most banks (something like 90% of the first £30,000 on deposit).
If you think your money is safer with Quidco than with a "reputable" high street bank, that's up to you - then again, you could always stick it under the matress.

Can someone advise me please?
Joined Think Bingo last night through quidco, everything seemed fine, deposited £50 got £50 play bonus on site plus £50 cashback tracked/pending on quidco, but the site won't let me play bingo, can get onto sign on page and can log on, but when I select play a pink screen comes up, there is a quick flash of a message which disappears too quickly to read and then stays pink. I've spent ages installing and uninstalling latest flash player to no avail, anybody got any suggestions?
If u believe that flash player is the problem , Jackpot joy provides an excellent flash player trouble shooter and ensures it instals correctly.

Or if youre like my gran you can hide it under the carpet, as a kid when I was over at hers I had some urge to pull up the carpet because it looked funny in the corner and under the carpet the floor was coated in 20quid notes.0

Just received Tesco's sims, comes with 20 pence of credit on the SIM, it says in the letter,
Activate your SIM - just charge your phone, pop in the SIM and make a call,
so that is all I did, I will not top the SIM up at all, and I will post if it validates.0
