A few months ago - someone did a Simpsons theme using the pink doughnut from the Simpsons with sprinkles on top.
You could always just do the shape of Bart's head?!? The main part could be square, a half circle at the bottom and spikes at the top - held together with jam or icing.
Hope this helps & good luck!Official DFW Member 716 - Proud to be dealing with my debts0 -
Picachu (sp) is sort of traditional victoria sponge shape round but he is bright yellow so some icing, eyes etc and the tail and you'd be well away.
My first thought was make the sponge cut the middle out to turn it into a doughnut and then ice it pink

When making themed cakes I would always go with a victoria sponge and shape it. Make a few large round cakes or rectangle cakes and then cut and stick together with icing to make the base shape then decorate to your hearts content. Definately most easy!
Bart's head would probably be do-able you could always print out a picture online and trace it
what other things does he like - what about a train, a favourite animal, a copy of his head/face?, a favourite sport (my mum make a rectangular pitch with green icing and added little footballers for my dad one year in his team's colours).
Good luck x
I can't promise that all my replies will illicit this responser.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!
