Washing Powder without strong smell

I have been using Persil for years but the new boxes and liquid with "just washed feeling" on them, to me, makes my washing smell as if its been washed in Bathroom cream cleaner.

Thought I'd have a change, but when I looked at the bewildering array on the supermarket shelves I didn't know where to start.

Any suggestions for washing powder that either dosn't smell or just a hint of perfume.

I only use half the amount as I have a Water Softener, and no Fabric Conditioner.

Thanks

I

Tesco's Own brand Non-Biological for me - its fab and cheap and has no odd smell.

If I want my washing to smell I will use a fabric softener as well as hang it on my washing line.
  • I use Tesco Value biological laundry liquid and Tesco Pure concentrated fabric softener neither of which have a strong smell. I hate overpowering smells!

I use the value ranges from either Tesco/Asda/Sainsburys.
They are £1.41 for a 3kg box and there is no overpowering smell from them. Clothes smell clean...but not fragranced.

Thanks for replies. Will try Asda or Tesco value brand, as they are the nearest supermarkets.

How much do you use? I find if I use the amount it says on the box, then washing pongs of perfume, no matter which one I use. I use much much less and lob in a bit of washing soda as well, so cheaper too.
