Housebuilding lowest since 1945 !!

With Libor so high, & BOE rates set to remain at 5% at the very least, this is yet another indication that property prices are heading for a significant correction ..

    Much of the 'demand' in the housing market was down to speculative investment.

    Take that away, as has in the main happened, and there's plenty of supply .. leading to falling prices.

    Every pound less borrowed (to buy a house) is more than two pounds less to repay and more than three pounds less to earn, over the course of a typical mortgage.
