If the woman owes you for 2 weeks work, then refuses to pay you as she claims you caused damage to her property costing the same amount to put right how can you owe her any money?? Is it because she did not reveal that she did not pay for the work??
If that is the case could you enter counter claim for wages etc??
Sorry didn't see this, yes she is claiming she paid me £100 for 2 weeks full time work (funny in its self), she didn't pay me £100 at all. She is then claiming that my daughters broke her video recorder and her tapes and my horses damaged a barn wall and fencing and also that we turned off a freezer and spoiled a whole freezer full of food (in fact the freezer was empty and we never touched it) and is claiming for cleaning costs(her house was a pig sty and I cleaned it throughly). I kept horses with her and house sat and ran the farm for 16 days and it was a hard slog- I had a broken elbow and 2 very small children. When I asked her why she had not paid me, she asked me to leave with my horses and became abusive, so I moved all my horses the very next day. She is also claiming money in leiu of notice- I had no contract with her for work, damages or moving my animals away without notice, everything had been done on a friends basis, nothing for anything was EVER put into writting. She is claiming around £350 and has kept in leiu of payment my £250 horse clippers and £150 worth of electric fencing.0 -
Have a look here.
I would say you first step should be getting the existing ccj stopped/removed then you should look at raising your own action for non payment plus the fencing and clippers if you can.
I would say you should also contact your local CAB office. They may be in a better position to give exact adviseMF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000 -
oh blimey hon! what nightmare for you. I would speak with the CAB and fight this where you can. you don't want to pay and then not have your property returned. infact i'd say you don't want to pay fullstop! sounds like shes trying it on and you need advice on what is the best thing to do.debt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0
