Oh how wonderful....what a lovely reaction from him. Enjoy the glow of your news both of you. A first baby/pregnancy is truly special. You will have a lot of willing 'virtual' babysitters on here I'm sure.YOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)
really....it's not hard to understand :T0 -

Yay!! Mr Lucifa is a happy Daddy. Who's the Daddy - Mr L's the Daddy!!!
TBH my doctor told me the tests you buy at boots (or being an MSE'er, at Bodycare lol) are basically the same as they use these days, and didn;t even bother to test my blood, just got me booked straight in with midwife.
Yes, it's a scarey time, but very exciting. Babies don't have to be expensive, the magazines tell you you need XYZ and a bum-wipe heater (I kid ye not - in case Junior doesn't like room temperature wipes), but babies just need Mum, clean clothes, a sink to bathe in (my son has escaped the 'photo-of-him-being-bathed-in-the-sink) and a clean bum. If you breastfeed, there's no horrible, disgusting, fish oil containing baby powder to buy (I'm biased, can you tell?!), natural nappies can be a lot of work, but can be greener/cheaper, and first size baby clothes are great from charity shops etc, as the previous owner was probably not in them more than 3 times.
You enjoy it, and have a cup of tea to celebrate, as from now on alcohol joins a long list of yummy foods like rare steak and blue cheese that you cannot eat lol. This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

Hi Suzy,
Things are ok-been a bit topsy turvy but heyho...
How are you babe??Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
you cant eat tuna now either so i was told when i had DD... hmm...
or swordfish funnily enough...
or mozzarella, peanut butter, raw egg etc etc0 -
i didnt listen to all that faff:heartpulsOnce a Flylady, always a Flylady:heartpuls0

Nothing with raw egg in - so Hagen Daz is out - it's got raw egg in. Nothing undercooked, from now on everything has to be incinerated. No liver, and no going near cat litter trays.
Basically, if it tastes good, you can't have it. lol, when DD was born first thing I wanted was a rare steak with blue cheese dressing, and a nice cold lager. After I finished being sick thanks to the massive amount of painkiller they pumped into me...This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!
