Silly Question? Any Ideas?

HI I HAVE BEEN MADE BANKRUPT BUT HAD NO CONTACT APART FROM A LETTER SAYING I'M BANKRUPT.

TODAY I GOT A LETTER FOR A COUNCIL TAX BILL FROM A COUCIL WHERE I USED TO LIVE. THEY ARE SAYING I'M IN ARREARS WITH THE PAYMENT WE AGREED. I AM IN ARREARS AS I STOPPED PAYING WHEN I FILED FOR BANKRUPTCY AND INCLUDED THIS WITH MY BANKRUPTCY APPLICATION.
WHAT DO I DO NOW?
DO I CONTACT THE COUNCIL THE AIB (IM IN SCOTLAND) OR LEAVE IT AND WAIT?
WILL THE COUCIL TAX BE INCLUDED IN THE BANKRUPTCY IM SURE IVE READ A FEW COMMENTS ON HERE SAYING IT WONT AND A FEW SAYING IT WILL.
ANY IDEAS ?

Does the letter say or give and details regarding who is your official reciever or trustee in the matter?

The CT arrears would have been included in the BR order, you would need to either send a copy of the order via recorded delivery to the address on the CT demand and that should be that

No Trustee Appointed As Of Yet It Seems To Take So Long In This New Scottish System.
It Just Says That I Am Officially Bankrupt And They Will Be In Touch

i'm not 100% sure on the scottish system im afraid. but does the letter give you a BR no. and court details??

Gives Me A Case Number No Court In Scotland It Is Just Dealth With In An Office By The Administator That Only Good Thing I Think No Court
But Yes I Got A Case Number And Case Worker No Trustee Yet

i would suggest then that you get some copies of it made and then send it to the council in question and leave it at that. They will be able to see its official and that no trustee has been assigned yet.

thats a good idea. obvious realy, somethimes I just don't see things for worrying. Sometimes I just need to take a step back calm down and the answer arrives or just ask toon_Dave. A great big thankyou

just glad i could help...i know that sometimes the most obvious answer isnt as easy when your worrying.. i know from my own experiences on that on.

Do as Dave says and It could also be worthwhile sending a copy of the letter from the council to the Administrator.
