Anyone got one tucked away that i could hire/borrow tomorrrow for a couple of hours? Need to get my project car moved from whiteabbey to crumlin but it's not road legal . Baloo hire (£28 a day) have none spare and HSS are looking 100 quid :eek:

'Fraid not. You could ring round the breakdown agents in your area. It's not a long job, so they may do it for around £25 or so. Would save you from frying your clutch as well.0

Phoned Agnews in doagh, who's a decent bloke to deal with, and he wants £50 plus vat Maybe i should bung a set of dodgy plates on it and take my chances with the law0

You could end up costing yourself more than £50 if you do that! Have a look in yellow pages and see even if there any breakers who could help you out. What about asking work colleagues??0

Ended up just towing the car up, got a mate to drive the family bus with me as the towee doing my best to slipstream him lucky enough i'd enough clutch and petrol left to take the strain off though it's not good for the nerves driving that close behind someone for so long0
