Questions I am afraid to ask CCCS, pls help!

Recently I paid 2,000 cash to a creditor so this amount shows on my statement as a cash withdrawal. Actually it was a former employer who lent me money. I am sure she will be unwilling to provide a receipt if I asked her. She has a loan shark reputation without being actually one. She has no reason to go after me anymore and hasnt. So I know that loan is settled.
But would that mysterious cash withdrawal disqualify me for a DMP somehow?
I really want to sort things out but feel lots of things disqualify me for a DMP.
Please help!

CCCS dont check your bank statements. As long as you pay your DMP payment each month, you'll be fine

What documents will they require me to hand in? I don't really have any. I have been living like a student. Low rent, tiny box room, no car .No real assets, no jewellry. I got into debt due to 3 years of being irresponsible and getting fired from jobs a lot. It all went towards living expenses - I used my credit card like cash. I didnt do a lot of shopping, etc. I dont have expensive clothes. Now I have been at my job for nearly a year so hoping I will be able to sort my life out.
But DMP is scary if in case of an emergency - what would they suggest in my situation as acceptable emergency money?

Also I am not on the tenancy agreement in my current house. Will that be a problem? Right now we are 9 people and if someone leaves we might need to pay more rent. So 2 things my rent could change depending on number of people in house and I prefer not to have my name on tenancy agreement. Would this be a problem?0

HAve a look at the CCCS website and fill in the debt remedy and see what options it gives you, then phone CCCS. I have a DMP with them and they didnt ask HOW I got into debt only interested in what my income and outgoings were. the tenancy agreement shouldnt be a problem I just put in to CCCS what I pay in rent. DOnt be afriad of CCCS but do be honest they are really helpful and non judgemental. good luck0

You shouldn't have any problems regarding the tenancy agreement. They just ask how much you pay. I have a mortgage and they never asked for proof of my mortgage payment or that the mortgage is in my name. If your rent does change you can request a review with them and they will hopefully just rework the figure or make further suggestions as to what you can do. You are making +ive steps to sorting out your problem, that is the main thing.

The only things I had to send CCCS were: one wage slip to show income (and this was only at the start), and credit card statements so that they have all the account numbers and reference numbers to pay people

Don't panic. They haven't ever asked me for my mobile phone bill, tenancy agreement, proof of rent amount, current account statements or anything like that.working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -

They suggested £15 a month for me. There is also a "house maintenance" money you can put down a small amount for as well.
CCCS are very good and will do a review if you ask and then you can update your income and expenditure and they will change the amount you pay to your DMP to enable you to pay any increased rent etc.
In fact one year into my DMP with them I had no money for car tax or MOT and they reduced my payment for just one month so that I could cover this. They said as it was a one off expense and I hadn't missed any payments in a whole year, it should be fine. So far it has been
