Fairy soap works for me ;D0

Somewhere in this forum I have recently read a post about 'laundry gloop' which is a homemade substitute for laundry liquid or powder.
Apparently it is very good on stains so it should do the trick on the cuffs and collars, I imagine!
I can't remember off the top of my head where I read it but I have saved the link to the gloop recipe

Had a look in my local boots this afternoon and borax can be found beside Boots own brand washing powder, fabric conditioner, starch and caustic soda.
Hope this helps.
I would be happy to buy it and post it to you but, bearing in mind that it weighs 750g, postage might be costly.

Thanks Pink. My local Boots doesn't seem to stock any of those items. Do you live in the North, I think Boots' have more stock there. Will try one of the bigger branches in the west end.0

my small boots in a nearby town will order it for you, they order me stuff since the one in the main town was made pedestrianised all around, they are really helpful.0 -

I know just the kind of look you mean - and I actually LIKE getting this look now, because I know it means I'm saving money while they're paying extra for brand name products, just in order to be 'modern'!0
