Hi Chezzac, welcome to the forum !
Not sure what the dress code means, but in the Elle magazine comp, it mentions the dress code and gave this link for inspiration, it was suppose to be superhero theme dress: think i will probably still wear jeans but dress it up a bit with nice top.

While we're on the very important subject of what-to-wear-to-premiere's anyone have a take on 'smart-casual' for the prince caspian one on thursday... am sitting up top away from the celebs but still a red carpet is a red carpet...
    Help?!?!?

its such a hard decision isn't it lb364 - you don't want to ber under dressed or over dressed. I would say put the ball gown and the faded denim away - go for "smart" jeans - dark coloured and a fancy top, i'm not really a dress kind of girl. Anyone any tips, i'm still trying to decide what to wear tonight

I'm still not sure what to wear  mind you, the tickets haven't arrived yet  I'm listening out for the postie now, if he just puts post through, I'll be running after him to double check if he has a rec delivery item for me, I do hate last minute things, makes my nerves bad.

You have to collect yours tigergold?

I know it said on the Heat comp that you had to be able to collect the tickets on the afternoon of the premiere, bit confusing  great that you didn't have to collect them and then go home again. The champagn reception sounds lovely though, what time does the letter state? if it's later on it might me worth going :D

My postie has just delivered mine, I was watching through the spy hole on my door and he put a load of post through and then went to go downstairs, I threw the door open and asked if he had anything I had to sign for, he said, oh, yes I have, thanks for reminding me, I would have had to come back up  or more likely bring them back tomorrow when it would have been too late. Still, I've got them now, the dress code of Superhereo with a Twist made me laugh, I just rang Bob and he said to get his Batman suit out of the wardrobe :rotfl:

The letter states that cloakrooms will not be available and concessions will be closed, not sure if we can take our own drinks etc.. or if a drink is provided. Think I'll ring the cinema and check.

Might see you later tigergold :hello: Our seats are R13 and R14

The reception starts at 5 quite early really. Lucky you caught the postie - that always happens with recorded stuff ! That would have been really annoying .
Might see you there - i'm seat G14/15.
Off to put on my ball gown and cape:rotfl:
