Did not think of this either. Ive bought one of the Boots Phones with a points redemption offer due in some 6 months or so. I hope they dont scrap the scheme, as I only wanted the phone for the points :(
  • dont think they will pull the scheme, there would be a huge out cry, if they decided to get rid of it they would have to phase it out i think

Anyone received their MOS CD player yet? My order is still "being processed" and I'd be interested to know what the quality is like

I'm planning to go and spend my £126 of points this weekend just in case! Not sure what the legal position is, but as I understand it these are just points and have no cash value in law, they are also the property of the company and can be withdrawn at any time?
But I'd be surprised if they pulled a scheme like this - it's what's kept their sales going for the last few years.

    wow - £126????

I struggle to rack up a fiver!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Don't scare me like that.
I've got £450 on my card but I don't want to spend it yet.
I think they'd lose a lot of their custom if they did scrap the ACP's
  • Had it in basket, then disappeared.

I was talking to a women on the help line about this happening to me and she said that they watch websites (like this one) to find out their errors and correct them a.s.a.p. That is why it disappeared. Seems we've been found out. :o

That's why you have to be quick off the mark with these. It isn't just Boots that watch us...most of the places that have had 'misprices' in the past watch us.
