Free PS3 with contract

Ok I know its not techinically a freebie as you pay for the contract but still.

I have already had the dolphin 35 contract for 18 months so I just cancelled my old contract and started a new one to benefit from 100 extra minutes and the free ps3.

How does anyone know when it'll arrive? The contract was connected on the 3rd of May this year, now the woman in carphone warehouse said allow 28 days but it shouldnt take this long.

On other boards I've been told to allow 28 days and 3 days for delivery. But its been well over a month now.

Currently its:

Including all days: 44 days
Only working days: 30 days

I'm not bothered about waiting for it as long as I know it'll arrive. I'd just like a guideline because I'm trying to save up to buy GTA IV for it and I don't wanna buy it and still not have the ps3!

We just got 2 phones from them at the start of my and have received both free gifts. They both arrived about 3 weeks after the connection. HTH!

Hi millsymuttleylaugh, I got a 'free' Nintendo Wii with Carphone Warehouse when I took out hubby's contract last April. It finally got delivered in July after several calls / emails with usual Carphone Warehouse 'customer service'!
Hope yours turns up with no probs for you.

yeah its really good, i got a psp, and a ps3,
i could really do with a lcd tv or an xbox 360 now

well just to let you all know. i emailed CPW about the ps3 and they replied saying it was out of stock but they'd add my name to a waiting list so i sent them a complaint, nothing abusive but just saying how i was promised one and my name should already be on a list etc and that they were advertising something they had no intention of giving, if i didnt recieve it i'd report them and hey presto, next day i received a email saying my ps3 would be delivered that day by courier. it has since broken though so rang sony and they replaced it with a 60gb one so i'm happy

Oooooh, what was wrong with you PS3? I might have to get sony to give me a 60gb version, I want backwards capability!
