Just popped in to tell that I held a guinea pig today for possibly the first time ever!!
Went to a 'Party in the Park' with the twins and their cousins and went into the small animal enclosure - firstly held a rabbit (ok, been there done that) then horror of horrors my niece wanted to hold a mouse and then when she got it she promptly gave it to me  I hate the bloomin things! Then it was a gosling, another bunny and then a piggy! I was dreading it baring it teeth after your 'incident'!! :rotfl: :rotfl:
Hi MOT
Seen your new thread and will gander over later.
Hee hee...I take it you still have all fingers intact then :rotfl: .my piggies like to lick the salt off my hands/arm.especially in this weather....and have never been bitten before.
It's only when you wash the bottoms of territorial males (they can get very dirty from a scent gland at the base of their back) that you need to watch out :rotfl:
Glad you had a good day..
Love

Hello everyone
What an absolutely gorgeous sunny day....shame it's dark now.
Sorry not been in much....Wol has been a bit busy of late but has been very productive.
Firstly me and sis have gone through the builders final account and chopped out everything thats been charged for twice, or charged for but not done or been overcharged for....(=£8,000 plus )...and have had long talk with surveyor and given him my offer to relay to the builders.
I've organised the mortgage drawdown and sent the builders an "on account" cheque as a sign of good will (for <50% of my offer) and I've sent the surveyor a snagging list of all the annoying bits and pieces that need finishing off (like please will you connect the TV sockets to the aerial/satellite rather than just to each other otherwise my TV won;t work :rotfl: )
As some of you may have noticed I had rather a late night on DFW last night.....and didn't get to bed until 3am. Woke up just before the cleaners arrived and have spent the morning in meetings working for dosh :j :j . Now I had this really good intention to go to the gym this afternoon and carry on working....but it was just so lovely out, and I needed to top up my tan as it had faded ......and unfortunately I fell asleep in the sun.....all afternoon.......woke up at 5pm:o ..and then did't feel like doing either so I sat and did my hand exercises for 2 hours instead as I hadn't had time to do them this morning.
So I will have to get up early tomorrow to put in a double dose of work and the hand exercises before I trot off to the hospital for the first ultrasound appointment. However I will deffo pop into the gym on my way back for a decent session so I will take my kit with me. I will have to have a mega work day on friday as well in order to achieve the client deadlines...but hey that's cool as I need to keep the bank manager happy atm and keep the cheques rolling in. And I expect that by the end of the week I will have the builders feedback about how insulted they are about my offer
Right I'm going to try and answer a couple of posts, wander over to Owls and a couple of other threads...but then guys and gals Wol is off to the land of nod....
See you tomorrow
Hugs to all
Wol2

Hello my dear..what a shame.......I hope it hasn't got any worse after the last two days. Keep strong Hun...glad to see you're not letting the turkeys get you down. And that's great having a long chat with your sis...so when are we all going over to see her then??:D
Now if I were down at the beach during this glorious weather I might be tempted to get one of those fishing nets and traipse around the rockpools until i could find a few crabs to deposit back in the flat.....that might ensure you get the bed tonight and he gets the sofa!!:rotfl:
Hope you had a more productive afternoon than me.....well I was multitasking.....sleeping and getting a tan at the same time :rotfl: :rotfl:
See you on Owls
Hugs
