It also happens to be one of my favourite places..i love the shopping there!Bath that is..
I really enjoyed the instructions for lobbing turnips..:rotfl:
I dont know whether they would eat the turnip toppings, my guineas would munch anything green, and loved running around in their little pen in the garden.

OOoh..another piggie owner...how many, what colours?.....I'm starting to find there's quite a few of us.

Actually I also used to go to Swindon outlet centre....great for business suits...in fact i still go there for all my clothes cos it's got some right bargains..:D

Bath is great...but...."when I were a lass and sleeping in shoe box"..... traffic was better and Bath was populated by [STRIKE]wurzels[/STRIKE] locals who were salt of the earth and a great community....unfortunately it has become a bit sterile and impersonal since the influx of ..well can't think of the best word to describe them...but then, think it's the same all over the UK. Parents still live there and I like going back..but tend to go for short periods now.

That's why I love DFW....a true, centred, caring community..no matter how far apart we all are....

See you around tonight Hun.....I'll just follow the DT posts..:rotfl: :rotfl:

    Hugs

  • Well i used to have four, we started with a bogoff guineapig, as she was pregnant.. a lovley marmalade ( her name)fluffy colour..her son was brown( bobby)_..he mated with a friends guinea and we had two, whitey ( albino) and bullseye..he was tortoisehell with a bullseye around his tail!

The last one whitey died about 16 months ago and we had to keep them in the shed as DS1 and Mr. B has allergies to them.. and rabbits. I decided that if ever i am on my own i will have loads..as i love guineapigs..not so keen on hamsters, but i like rats (used to have one called marmalade as well)

Haven't been to Swindon outlet yet, but we often go to Street as it is on the way back from Cornwall and a covenient divert off motorway especially as itis usually blocked on that section of the M5!

Ooooohhh Street....Clarks shoping village....my all time fave....but too far for regular visits from Sussex hence Swindon...although realy do need to tie in Street with next visit to Bath...

Wow...piggies until recently...would you like some more...;) ..have a couple of lovely little boys (bonded cage mates Charlie...red abyssinian and very friendly and Bailey...chocolate brown and honey...stoic....) who really need to be rehomed...

Seriously thought... at least you could use the prospect of such an acquisition as a bargaining tool with Mr BOB in view of his allergy:rotfl: :rotfl:

  • I know it is worth the odd evil thought or three..and they sound delightful would love to have them, but i would be in bad books with my sister who keeps trying to give me lion head bunnies and a guineapig..she breeds them as well and is always on at me to have one..which i would like a shot, if i had my way!

I think the turnip lobbing might be more productive and less expensive ATM :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
