Went into Waitrose today and saw leaflets advertising Glenfiddich Special Reserve Malt Whiskey 12 Yrs Old for £20 down from £26.
Thought that this was decent deal for a good whiskey, but then noticed that the shelf price was £17.30. Took it to the till and it went through at £17.30 despite all the leaflets and instore promotions saying £20.00!!!
Good Whiskey, even better price!!!

As Glenfiddich is from Scotland, it's whisky, not whiskey, which is Irish:rolleyes:

This is a ridiculous price to pay for whisky. If I was going to part with £17.30 I would at least expect a new one, not one 12 years old.......It's BARGAIN, BARGAIN, got it? Bargin my ****.0
