The CCCS are amazing

Just wanted to say that I had my apponitment with CCCS on Friday, Even though it will take a staggering 14 years to pay off - I feel a bit happier! I am still wondering if its wort try to claim charges back on credit cards?

Yes - if you can reduce your debt this way then your debt-free date comes closer!

Also if you can live more frugally than the CCCS budget you may be able to save and then hit your smaller creditors with full & final offers.

I notice from your other posts that you have two catalogue debts. Did you sign a credit agreement? Did you open the account after April 2007? If the answers are no and no, then the agreements are unenforceable.

I also think that you should investigate bankruptcy. Did CCCS talk you through this?

Hi there,
I have just been on another post about DMP and I saw your post.I wondered too if you could help me.When I first got in touch with the credit card company's on behalf of my husband, stopped the payment protection immediately on his cards.I have always thought this strange because he was in hospital at the time.I was so stressed, it never registered until recently he may have been covered.But as all of them have accepted £5 payments for the last 6 years without complaint.I wouldn't like to upset the applecart so to speak.What do you think.
