I assume your (For Life?) refers to the contradiction betweenFrom the 5th October 2005 to 29th February 2006, customers on BT Together Options 2 & 3 will be eligible for free texts from their BT landline. These free texts will continue until such time as the BT landline or the BT Together Option 2 package is ceased.0
-
Maybe you have to register, or be registered, on either option 2 or 3 between those dates?0
-
The way I read it, you don't have to register.
The 2 dates refer to the offer period. If you are in or move to BT Together 2 or 3, during the offer period, you will automatically be given the text bundle ( i.e. 100 or 200 free texts per month) until you cancel your landline or downgrade your BT Together package.
After the offer period, anyone who upgrades their BT Together package will be offered the new text bundle then on offer (maybe that will be 1000 or 2000 free texts per month)
7. Free bundled texts exclude texts to premium rate, international numbers or roaming UK mobiles"Now to trolling as a concept. .... I expect that I have to try and find the manual. We have just changed to a cordless phone for Argos, a BT Freelance XA500. I t has numbers on it and a display and looks like the picture on BT of what a text phone is but I am still not sure...
Only had this phone a couple of months but still not had time to read the manual.
How do you recieve and read texts?
I am on an old tariff which gives me free evening and weekend calls. The y keep trying to update me to this BT Together 2 or 3 but dont think it would be worth it.

Apparantly it expires on the 1/12/05.
