I have just used a code for an extra 500 points when you spend £50 (see the discounts thread) plus the website is offering 500 points on a £50 spend too

So spend £50 get 1000 (£10) worth of points.

On the baby essentials section they are offering 200 points when you spend £10

In total I ordered £50 worth of baby stuff and gained 2970 points.

oh 1 other thing! I had a double points coupon in with all the vouchers but the lady forgot to give me it back.

I want to buy some purfume on friday so would like to use it again how would i go about getting it back?

It was after the spring mailings and apparently I wasn't on the mailing list so she changed me to receive mailings..but she did tell me that they were sent out randomly on a cycle ?!? ( that doesn't sound random to me!?) Obviously I am still not random enough

evenning all
have been reading this thread for a while but am one of the shy ones that dont usually post. but i feel the need to share todays boots trip. i went to boots westfield to exchange little ones nappies for a bigger size and wasnt planning to get anything until end of month. heinz custard pots were still on offer so i got afew and also used my coupon.
i then went to the little boots and they had memory cards on the clearance shelf(have been looking for these for a while). i picked one and was planning to use two coupons with it but did not feel the need to cover up the glitch. i thought to myself, am not getting anymore wipes or nappies as i already have more than enough.
the lady that served me (manager) said she will not accept my coupons as the memory card was on sale. i said to her but the coupons says can be used for any digital memory card and does not have any exclusions. she still refused to use my coupons saying "you can not get all these points (1000) for spending just £1.25".
i was so cross and asked her to cancel the transaction, but as i pushed my pram out, i reversed in and went back to the counter. actual conversation.
security: the lady is back, she needs serving
manager: yes please
me: can you just try and put my coupons throu to see whether the till will accept it please
manager: i know the till will take it but i already said to you am not happy giving all points for something on sale.
at this point i thought of giving up and going home to ring customer service but somehow i carried on.
me: so if the till will take it means i can still get my poin ts for buying something on sale. i always get my points with no problem at the westfield boots.
i showed her my receipt for the custard pots and even explained to her how i had got a double benefit.
dont know why i was doing all this, normally i would just pay and walk away. she must have caught me on a bad day.
after seeing my receipt she did the memory card transaction and put throu 500points, said only one coupon per transaction.am still happy i got all these points.
For those that shop in derby, the little boots outside westfield still has memory cards on the clearance shelf. it is at the entrance so you cant miss it. SORRy FOR THE LONG POST.
