Boots in liverpool airport (before security) has some amazing bargains all the Erin/Jamelia model me range is 75/80 pence also several of the Eau Thermale Avene range is £1.50 unfortunately it cannot be taken through security but if you are dropping off at airport or coming back from your hols its def worth a look they had loads of other stuff but cannot remember as I had the worlds worst hangover!

That's nothing - I saw some PC coupons on there yesterday saying £1.80 postage! The blurb said "I'm a mum trying to save money so the postage includes fees etc". Outrageous and risky nowadays as you can give anonymous feedback on postage rates.

I went into the local Boots in work and asked if they had the free gift, she wasnt sure so she put it through the till and it came up with 'promotion offer' available but she wasnt sure what it was so I offered to print the picture off from the net and took it in, if I did this she offered to try and order it in. But on return another SA said 'No' because we're a smaller shop we dont order GWP, and that was that. So, rang Boots HQ and was told that the store could do an online order on behalf of customers or they could order the free gifts in store but its management discretion. He offered to give me some incentive points but I put my foot in it earlier when I said I didnt have access to an ACM (which is true)-never mind you win some you lose some.
He also, send the Med promotion didnt end till another 4 weeks so I had time to go to a bigger store.

Fruitful trip to Lakeside today despite leaving my AC in machine :eek: :eek: , fortunately when I noticed (30 mins later :eek: ) a very nice SA next to machine on photo counter had got it. She said she would have done a tannoy announcement but couldn't pronounce my name. Good job she didn't I would have thought the Boots Police were coming to get me!!

Got my BOGOF suncare item that I'd missed out on at weekend - SPF 50 face stuff, something to do with preventing dark patches!!

Shop 2 (the biggie):
No7 Glossy Locks 5.75 - used mag 200pt coupon
No7 Lip and eye screen 0.00 bogof
Picture frames £1.50 reduced from £6.00 on bogof - used 250pts PC coupon
Davidoff Cool Water Wave - £5.50 after using fragrance voucher
Model.me Helena conditioner and helena spray - 3.01 after ACM coupon
Heinz baby custards - £1.53 after using PC coupon
2 x Botanics Hair masks - used 250pt ACM coupon
6 (yes 6) x Jemma Kidd emery boards - £12 but received 1500pts
20 photos of DS's birthday party in 1hr - £4 after using £2 discount from ACM
few other distraction bits - 16p paracetomol, baby cotton wool, half price health club brecon carreg water.
Got 250pts for spending over £30

Total: £39.41, apparent savings £39.12, Points received 2554 plus a £5 fragrance voucher.

Shop 3:
8 x the same picture frames using 600pts.

Points balance will be 12250ish after I collect the .com points. Cannot wait to spend on new gwps. MUST NOT LEAVE CARD IN MACHINE AGAIN
