Yes it was cheaper instore. I saw these during 2007, I eventually bought one in the summer sale at 75% or 90% off, there were loads of them left even at the end of the sale. I wonder if we'll see them again in this summers sale. Definitely old stock:rotfl:

Does anyone buy products from boots that have extra points on them or if you have coupons to get the points then sell the items on??

    IYSWIM
    yep :D

if you're going to ebay then don't list em the same time as you get em, cos the market gets flooded and you won't get best price. Hold onto the stuff a month or so, keep basic records cos you won't remember in 1 week what you paid, let alone in 4 weeks!
    Pointswise:
I often volunteer to get the lunches in at work :D and I did the pressies shop for the last 2 peeps leaving to have babies ;)

I have ignored this as I am assuming I need a coupon to hand over to the SA so they can give me a smartcard...Is this right
I don't have any coupons so if it's the case I'll continue to ignore all chat on this subject.

Vic Centre Boots in Nottingham has a clearance shelf upstairs near to the opticians with some decent clearance stuff. I picked up a beaded bag for £3.50 and gel mousemat for £4.50. There was barbie gift sets and some handwash reduced to 75p. Did the UG glitch for the 3rd time, but this time SA said it was only half price if I purchased another UG product! Had to ask her to point out where it said that on ACM voucher and another SA concurred that I had to buy another product. So in end said I had already bought 1 and got it half price yesterday and that it would say B1G1HP if that was the case. She agreed to try it and i mentioned i had the till spit for £2 off haircare and she asked which voucher I wanted to use? Said both, it had worked
on the last UG purchase and only cost me 9p. In the end she put it through and looked really surprised. Can't see why she thought I had to purchase another product though?

Thanks for posting this Darkangel, it is very useful. :T :T :T

I wonder if I may 'borrow' it to ask others to comment on the products they bought. I dont know if they all do the same thing, but it would be a handy point of reference on how to use and what the comments are. BTW I have added the product that I bought to the top of the list

I totally agree about the difficulty in reading the print. All but impossible, pretty but useless.

    Not a problem pollsdolls,

I bought the UG glossing mist today, and again, too chicken to go to a manned till so went to a SS till. Scanned it in, then the ACM voucher, said deal not met (or something similar) so had to get a SA over. Pointed out that I had me the requirements so she took me to a proper till and scanned the voucher. I then handed her the £2 till spit, she wavered a bit and scanned it, came to 39p, she didn't tell me what I owed her immediately (don't think she was impressed that I got it for 39p) but she let it go. But as I went to put it in my bag she took it off me and scanned it again into the till so I have a feeling she'll be complaining to her manager about it going through so cheaply.

Not my fault they think we won't work out the best deals! And it is legit if the till and vouchers say so.

When I was queuing up I noticed some till spits in the bin next to the SS tills. I desperately wanted to dive in and grab them all but didn't want to look like some sort of hobo rooting through people's rubbish! Luckily I noticed a till spit behind the till and I managed to get the SS tiil next to the bin so swiped one from the top (might be worth keeping your eyes peeled if you have SS tills near you).

Only problem is the ACM has stopped giving me the half price UG vouchers! Does anyone have spare ones they would like to exchange? I've got

    400pts on No7 liplicious
500pts on No7 facial sun protection on £10 spend
150pts on T&G mini protect and style
50pts WYB boots pure moisture washing and bathing range
2 for £4 WYB 17 high gloss nail polish

They're all from the ACM so have my name on and they all expire on the 15th July (apart from the No 7 one which is 12th August)

    Thanks! x

Yep, you need a coupon which was sent to you with a Boots Health Club mailing. Coupon works with the blue smartcards, NOT with the green one (for me anyway, twice ;) ).
