    Hi all,

Was just wondering if anyone can help me...
I'm doing a sponsored midnight walk on Saturday, & it's THIRTEEN miles long
Could anyone recommend any blister-prevention type products?
I've had a look and saw Boots sell a Compeed stick that you rub onto your feet before you walk- and this is supposed to prevent blisters  sounds too good to be true to me!
Don't want to waste my money on things that are not going to work, so if anyone has tried this, or any other product, I would be so grateful for your feedback :p

Also, it is pink-themed fancy dress. After much umming and ahhing I've decided to go as a bunny girl lol. I'm going to use the pink No7 nail varnish from the pink jewellery box, but am really not sure what makeup to use- what colour eyeshadow does a bunny girl wear? :rotfl:

    Thanks guys.

EDIT: Have just checked weather forecast and it looks like it's going to tip down- so looks like makeup had better be waterproof lol!!!

how about silver from the inner corners of your eye and then fading into a hot (or candy) pink on the outer corners (away from the nose) Use liquid eyeliner to define (across top lash line and flick out) and then maybe finish off with some glitter just on the outer edges?

    Possible boots products:

17 hot pink eye shadow is fab
revlon does a good silver eye shadow
    rimmel exaggerate eye liner
17 or collection 2000 for glitter

I'm off to Reading tomorrow and again it not being my local store, was wondering if anyone could tell me where I could find the clearance sections in the Oracle branch and the Broad Street branch ? Do Reading have good clearance sections ? Do they do the Jemma Kidd nail files ? And do they do perfume sets ? TIA

The only clearance section in the Oracle is upstairs where the toys/baby/photo/optical departments are. It is just one small section on an end of a shelf. If you go up via the lift or the stairs near it (which is in the back right corner of the store near the main row of tills), you will come out very near the clearance shelves. You'll see the aisle with the "experience" gift packs and magazine gift packs right in front of you (but you'll have to go around the staircase) if you come up in the lift. The clearance is at the end of that aisle, facing the toy section. It's not too exciting, though -- most reduced items are on the regular shelves.

There is no clearance shelf on Broad Street, but reduced items are on the regular shelves. You should look at Broad Street first, as they have many reduced items there that are still full price at the Oracle, but the Oracle has a wider selection of products overall. I never saw jemma kidd nail files in the oracle and forgot to look in broad street. hth

Don't suppose you happen to know if either branch sells 'Grobags' do you? Need to get the next size up for my daughter and have a fair few points so was hoping to get them with those.

    TIA

    I bought 5 of these

    hero.jpg

and they were reduced to £2.99. I did not realise this range is going through on 342. When I checked my receipt, I realised I had only used 747 points for the 5. They are priced at £9.99 on the website.
  • I absolutely LOVE:heartpuls :heartpuls :heartpuls Clean of England S&G shower gel. It is an orangey smell- it reminds of the satsuma range that the Body do (or used to do). I got three bottles when the 400pts offer was on- I've nearly finished my first.....I also love the big bottle and the pump dispenser- very handy.

i got this yesterday, dont konw what the full price is, but i got it reduced for £1.25, is that good? ive never bought any s & g stuff before

Trying to keep this slightly boots related as I know some people dont like chatting, but as I know you are all so good at hampers I would like some advice on what I could include in a wedding hamper? Maybe buying something from boots to keep it related, if any one knows any good ideas would you be able to PM me to save any unrelated threads on here?

Sorry if this is going to cause any trouble.
    Thanks in advance
