hi all

i was going to put this in the motoring board but as im shopping around this seamed like a good place....

im looking for a new or pre reg car, i dont mind buying from the internet, the main thing is amount of cash saved from the dealers list price.

i havent quite made up my mind on which car to go for, top of the list at the moment are the fiat grande punto and bravo, but theres plenty of others im open to.

if anyone has any ideas on places to go (im in the midlands) or websites to look at please let me know.

I bought a pre-reg Punto Grande last year from Evans Halshaw - basic 3-door pre-reg 56 for £5,500. Have looked for Grandes since for friends but Evans Halshaw's website is fairly useless. Try www.autotrader.co.uk. You can search for used cars and if you get search criteria right, you should get a list of all pre-regs being advertised. Plenty of bargains still, I think.
