£5 off £30 spend in Tesco's

I was told that my local Tesco were not accepting Morrisons vouchers, but I think it depends on the supervisor you speak to on the day. Had the same problem with the Sainsbury's vouchers previously - I told them they need to speak to their store manager and tell him/her to look into this, because it was clear staff were not being briefed or trained to the same standard! The supervisor who refused to take it was then overruled by another who happened to walk over to customer services and hear our conversation:rolleyes:

I don't mind if they don't take another supermarket's vouchers but a bit of consistency would be nice. Might try and give them a call tomorrow, considering other Tesco stores seem to be taking them.

I wonder if it goes the other way too - will Morrisons or Sainsbury's accept the Tesco voucher?

I have printed off a letter from Tesco HO saying they will accept vouchers even if you dont buy the product (as long as Tescos store stocks them).Every time im queried, (still got huggies vouchers from Mother & Baby March) I flash this letter and they just accept them.

They also accepted the Morrisons vouchers last week, but noticed the banner outside of another local store on Sunday.

Consistency, half the till operators dont know & just say no and the other half dont care & accept them.

Gave a pile of vouchers in at Tesco last week, but they would only accept ones where I had purchased the goods ...and it was an £80 shop!
