I want a cheap pushchair...

with rain cover etc. It has to be compact and light so the Missus can carry it on buses etc as she doesn't drive.

Any recommendation's would be much appreciated.

personally i would go for a maclaren..... you can get their basic ones for around £55....yes more than the very cheap ones you can get but they last forEVER! lol ....maybe not forever but i got mine and it has been passed onto two other families now...seriously 4 children and about 9 years later its still going strong PMSL! They are really easy to handle - ie put up and down etc......... you can get mega cheapy ones for about £20 but i would deffo pay more for quality when kids are concerned...safety and all that jazz!!!

Kiddicare have quite good deals i think and they do Quidco @ 4%

Oooooh - but you gotta make sure that kid is old enough to go in it as some of the "stroller" types (ie the very lightweight frames) arent suitable from birth - personally i wouldnt put any younger than about 6 months in one.....
Baldrick, does it have to be this way? Our valued friendship ending with me cutting you up into strips and telling the prince that you walked over a very sharp cattle grid in an extremely heavy hat?

This one is even better, my sister was looking at this one a few weeks ago when it was priced at £50 but its now £37.99 down from £99 and it has everything bag, raincover and foot muff and has a deep recline unlike the blue koochi one;)

    TVM all.

My daughter is a year old in 18 days and my missus doesn't drive. Hence the need for a lightweight stroller that she can take on the bus!

TVM - I'll have a look at the prices. Don't wanna spend a fortune tbh. She was looking at one for £70 and my heart nearly stopped!
