Hi
may be it has been posted before but i couldn't find it

just been to Game and trade in value for 6 ps2 games was £14

went to gamestation and it was £24 for the same(£10.00 a big difference)

so fifa06 cost £10.99 after trade in.

Also found this, this weekend. My son went to Gamestation, could have had £21 cash but instead choose a trade in and has now get a £30 credit voucher to use towards the new Battlefield Vietnam game out this month

Obviously, Game's a con. Try cex.co.uk to find one of their stores if you must trade in. I'd prefer to sell on ebay.

Gamestation will beat any Game (& other shops?) Trade-In Price by £1 but as people have already said, Game's trade-in prices that bad I'd be surprised if Game offer you a better price than Gamestation anyway.

Has any one tried CEX or Chips they both have good trade in prices. Although i think CEX are more london based and CHIPS more up north.

    Just a thought
  • It's worth noting that Gamestation will take almost any games, no matter how old - they have a policy of trading-in retro stuff. I got 75p each trade-in for a load of old ZX Spectrum games which were absolute rubbish (all latter-day budget games). I couldn't sell the whole lot for £1 at a car boot sale, and ended up with a credit note for £75.75.

wow that is impressive, makes you wounder what they do with them. Surely they can't get more than that when (if they can!) sell them on
  • I must admit, I have no idea what they do with them. When I next went in the shop they had a couple in a little cabinet for £3 each, but people were pointing at them and laughing at the price. They were gone last time I visited, and I doubt they were sold... ;)

Perhaps the people who own Gamestation are developing a doomsday weapon that is powered by old 8-bit computer games.
