i got DCBYAN from somewhere but i cant work out where to put it when ordering!!0

That's because (a) it's DCBYAW and (b) it's for Dixons Stores Group, not Comet.
Don't think there are Comet discount codes.
They have a clearance auction site though: https://www.clearance-comet.co.uk - but the prices can be a bit excessive for what is often damaged and/or returned stock.0
