Moorcroft Debt collector..

One of my debt is a £ 3086 credit card debt from halifax that until 3 month ago i havnt paid much off since i defaulted in 2003, moorcroft sent a collector round with a card, we agreed that i pay £20 a month and i have been doing so, until today he turned up and due to car bills and tax etc i have nothing much left and i cannot spare 20 this month. he says if i mess payments the bailifts will be round.. he only take payment via knocking on my door, do i have any rights?
this is one of the debts i want to send a CCA request to as i took out one credit card not two ( tho yes im wrong i did spend on the 2nd card they sent me) but i only signed up in the branch for one card !

Yes, send them this letter by recorded delivery:

    Your address

    Date

    Creditor / DCA address

    Ref - A/C no:

Please be advised that I am only prepared to communicate with XXXXXXXXX in writing. OFT rules and regulations clearly state that you can only visit me at my home if you make an appointment and I have no wish to make an appointment with you.

There is only an implied license under English Common Law for people to be able to visit me on my property without express permission; e.g. the postman and people asking for directions etc (Armstrong v. Sheppard and Short Ltd [1959] 2 Q.B. per Lord Evershed M.R.).

Therefore take note that I revoke license under Common Law for you, or your representatives, to visit me at my property and if you persist in sending "doorstep callers" to my home, you will be reported for harassment and be liable for damages for a tort of trespass.

You would also be liable for conspiring in a tort of trespass by acting in defiance of my instructions and sending someone to visit me nevertheless.

Should it be necessary, I will obtain an injunction

That should work, ask them to send you a paying in book, Moorcroft CAN DO IT, I have a paying in book from them, although I pay via Pay plan.

Moorcroft sent me a paying in book when they took the debt over, however, I requested my CCA from then, as they were unable to produce it, Moorcroft sent my debt back to the OC.

Why they know they owe the debt not everyone is cowardly enough to try to outrun their debts.
Where in my post have I mentioned "out running one's debts?"

Although NO CCA has been produced on my debt, I'M STILL PAYING THE DEBT!!!

The reason I requested my CCA from Moorcroft was because they were being a pain in the butt, so I requested my CCA, as none could be provided, they sent my debt back to the OC and closed my file with them, which is a) what I wanted and b) got Moorcroft of my back.

DO NOT BE INTIMIDATED BY OTHER MEMBERS REMARKS, HOW THEY HANDLE THEIR DEBTS IS UP TO THEM, THEY ARE NOT JUDGE AND JURY OVER WHAT I / OTHERS CHOOSE TO DO!

Payment should NOT be made to door stop collectors . You have no guarantee that any of the money goes to where it should be going . Send off CCA REQUEST straight away !

this will stop door stop collector.
and hopefully i will see the end of all this debt one day !!!!!

Is it worth me sending the CCA letters to the DCA before i go into a DMP ??
