What do you do when prizes don't turn up?

Should I just give up on this?

I received a PM on 19th March 2008 from Handbag Admin to inform me that I had won a DVD of Mistresses Series 1 and could I please reply with my full name and address. I replied the same day with my contact details.


When I did not receive my prize I PM'd Handbag Admin again on 27th April to follow it up and ask where my prize was. I received no reply. I PM'd again on 13th May and yet again no reply and still no DVD.


I then emailed the Marketing dept at Handbag on 22nd May who said they were very sorry and would look into it for me immediately. Have heard nothing from them since desite me sending a second email a couple of weeks ago.


Is it worth persuing any further? I know its only a DVD but its the principal of the thing and I would have expected better of a large website like handbag.com

You could try ringing them?

handbag are genreally good at sending things out it maybe the actual suppliers,just send them another email,and good luck xxx

I had this with digital spy, in the end i had to threaten to report them, and suddenly a voucher arrived for amazon as they had lost my prize! xxx
perserve, dont give up, its annoying and sours the win, but its your prize! xxx
much luck, why not call them and say how unfair they have been xxx

I would just keep on at them, I had a prize not turn up last year for ages and I kept on at them and eventually I received it:D

I normally keep emailing until i get my prize - it normally works (havnt not received anything yet, although i do have a few things to chase up - i always keep a WEM!!)

When i started comping i won goodie bags from both VIDEO-C and Bubblegum Club and never received any of them. Mad at myself now but i always make sure that now i keep the WEM and always keep on at them till i get my prize. U deserve your prize

I'm in the same boat with two wins from Feb. A dvd player from goodtoknow and the ratatouille dvd from the people newspaper giveaway. At first they replied when i enquired but now being ignored and havnt heard back from goodtoknow since March despite my emails. I'm defo gonna keep on at them and I think you should to. Gonna threaten to report them too if I don't hear back, it seemed to work for someone else above Then if still ignored I will go ahead and report them. It definetely does sour the prize a bit, I was really looking forward to the dvd player but i don't give in easily so gonna keep pestering
